Gil McLachlan has become so enamored with the Power fans pre-match Never Tear Us Apart karaoke session that he has issued an edict to all clubs to lift their matchday experience to that level. While GWS may struggle to engage the seven people who attend their games to create an electric atmosphere, and Melbourne clubs have complained that the MCG and Etihad still refuse to let them do much in the way of atmosphere, the Lions took it seriously.
